For those of you from the East and Southeast, the Kentland, IN airport invites you to gather for the flight to Hartford, WI. Kentland is south of the busy Chicago air traffic on the IL/IN border and is 170 nautical miles from OSH.

The airport and town are excited about hosting individuals or groups of Cubs.  Fuel price is the lowest for 50 miles around. Plenty of room to park and camp, the town provides transportation to local restaurants and motel.

The airport manager asked if I had any idea how many Cubs would be stopping in Kentland. If you think you might stop in Kentland, please let me know - no commitment, we are just wondering.

My Cub is located 20 NM straight west of 50I at grass strip. You are welcome to stop (no fuel available. If it works into anyone's plans and you want to fly up west of Chicago, I'll be departing 8IS5 at 0700 CDT. 3CK ( Lake In The Hills) for fuel stop and then on to HXF. Here's my route on Skyvector; http://skyvector.com/?ll=42.25645155077334,-88.2819169218666&chart=13&zoom=3&plan=A.K5.8IS5:A.K5.3CK:A.K5.KHXF:F.K5
